Sandrine Denti joined Independent Diplomat in January 2020 as Policy Officer in our Geneva office.
Sandrine holds a MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, U. of London) where she focused on Diplomatic studies, International Security and Government and Politics of Africa.
Sandrine has professional experience in international, governmental and non-governmental organizations, starting at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). She was then appointed Political Attaché at the Swiss Embassy in Tanzania for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). There, she developed her expertise in Diplomatic affairs and strengthened her competencies in political work and policy analysis. Working closely with the Governance team, she contributed to the anti-corruption, human rights and gender programmes.
Prior to joining Independent Diplomat, Sandrine worked at the World Economic Forum (WEF) where she was part of the Swiss Government relations team. In parallel, Sandrine has been active in philanthropic work since 2016 when she co-founded an NGO active in Tanzania.
